Metrology Technician (a)
Your tasks with us
- You carry out demanding measurement and testing tasks for customer acceptance as well as for internal and external production
- You programme and operate our coordinate, form, contour, and surface measuring devices (ZEISS, Leitz, Talyrond, Jenoptik, etc.)
- You create, optimise, and maintain measurement programmes and measurement strategies
- You support and advise our customers as well as internal departments on metrological testing and quality issues
- You create test plans and SPC analyses and evaluate the corresponding measurement results
- You analyse product deviations, assist in identifying causes, and jointly initiate appropriate measures with the responsible departments
- You actively contribute to the further development and standardisation of our measurement and testing processes
Your profile
- You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical or technical environment, for example as a polymechanic
- You have solid expertise in 3D coordinate metrology and ideally in form, contour, and surface metrology
- You bring practical experience in industrial metrology, preferably in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical environment
- You can confidently interpret technical drawings as well as form and positional tolerances and implement them into suitable measurement strategies
- You possess good technical understanding, think analytically, and approach problems in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- You work independently, carefully, and with quality awareness while also valuing teamwork
- You are willing to further your education in the AUKOM area or already have a corresponding qualification
