What you can achieve with us
- Take on overall commercial responsibility for the PPE business in Switzerland as a member of the management team
- Develop and be responsible for the national sales and business strategy with a clear focus on growth, market share and profitability
- Lead and develop the sales and category management departments and take direct leadership and further development of your managers and employees
- Work closely with the Managing Director and the global Safety organisation and actively shape the strategic direction of the business
- Be responsible for the product and service portfolio as well as the assortment, supplier and purchasing strategy
- Manage pricing, margins, budgets, forecasts and relevant performance KPIs and be responsible for sales and profit
- Identify market, customer and competitor trends and derive concrete growth and sales initiatives from them
- Acquire new customers, unlock additional sales potential and further develop existing strategic customer relationships Lead important contract and partnership negotiations and build sustainable business relationships
- Work closely with those responsible for SMB and Corporate Sales, Marketing and Operations to consistently exploit customer potential and business opportunities
- Promote a culture of personal responsibility, performance orientation and customer focus and create the conditions for sustainable growth
What you bring with you
- Several years of leadership experience as well as proven sales success in the personal protective equipment (PPE) business
- Extensive experience in B2B sales and a strong understanding of customers, markets and business development
- Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking combined with pragmatic and solution-oriented implementation
- High negotiation skills, closing orientation and a pronounced sales mindset
- Experience in collaboration and management in a matrix organisation
- Business administration training or an equivalent qualification
- Very good communication skills in German and English; French skills are an advantage
