Volunteer for Accompanying Excursions

As the largest social enterprise in the Basel area, we offer meaningful work, self-determined living, as well as comprehensive care and support at BSB (Bürgerspital Basel) with around 1,600 employees.

The Lindenhof provides a comfortable and individual home for 24 residents with support needs in the educational and nursing fields.

For the daily activities at the Lindenhof residential home, we are looking for a volunteer to accompany residents on excursions using public transport (e.g. walks in Kannenfeldpark or Grün 80). With joy and patience, you assist residents with boarding and alighting and act as a conversational partner during the outing.

These are weekly assignments, usually on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

Volunteering at BSB complements the professional full-time work but does not compete with it. It is of great importance for the quality of life of the people being cared for.

• Empathetic and patient personality

• Very good knowledge of German
