About the Role
As Head of Finance (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the finance department at the two locations Kaiseraugst and Altendorf. You will work closely with local management to ensure transparency, uniform financial processes, and reliable reporting.
You will lead the accounting and controlling departments and maintain regular communication with the local leadership teams as well as the Coesia headquarters. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the further development of the finance organisation at both locations.
The focus of the position is in Kaiseraugst (approx. 80%), with regular presence in Altendorf (approx. 20%). Travel between the two locations is an integral part of the role.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsibility for all financial reporting including actual figures, forecasts, and budget planning
Leadership and further development of the accounting and controlling departments
Harmonisation of the two different ERP system landscapes at the locations
Design, implementation, and continuous optimisation of financial processes and internal controls
Establishment and further development of transparent reporting structures and relevant KPIs
Coordination of monthly and annual financial statements
Responsibility for cash flow reporting, liquidity monitoring, and financial planning
Close collaboration with local management and the Coesia headquarters on financial and strategic matters
Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, financial standards, and reporting requirements
What You Bring
Several years of experience as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or in a comparable leadership role in finance
Solid knowledge in accounting and controlling
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Experience in leading teams in finance, accounting, or controlling
Professional experience in Switzerland and good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in mechanical engineering, automation technology, or project-oriented business
Strong hands-on mentality and the ability to build, standardise, and continuously develop structures and processes
Experience in an international corporate environment and collaboration with central group functions
Fluent English skills
Good German skills
