The Restaurant Volkshaus Zürich stands for traditional and authentic cuisine. The products used mainly come from organic production. In our spacious bar and restaurant areas, with a total of 260 seats, the charm of the 1920s meets modernity. A place to experience urban hospitality. The many events at Volkshaus contribute to making the Restaurant Volkshaus a lively and highly frequented establishment.
The fully equipped and modern banquet and event rooms of Volkshaus offer space for about 2,000 people. With over 2,500 events per year (national and international music top stars, party labels, classical concerts, comedy, general meetings, theater performances, banquets, and seminars), Volkshaus is one of the best-known event venues in the city of Zurich.
For the Restaurant Volkshaus we are looking for immediately or by arrangement
Bar Staff, 80-100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Attending to our guests at the bar, in the bistro, and on the terrace
- Independently managing your own service station including cash handling
- Preparation of coffee specialties, drinks, and cocktails
- Mise en place and adherence to quality and hygiene standards
Your requirements
- Experience in bar and service area, ideally barista or cocktail knowledge
- Completed training in gastronomy or equivalent experience
- Efficient, resilient, and service-oriented working style
- Flexible availability (evening & weekend shifts)
- Well-groomed, cheerful personality with team spirit and joy in guest contact
