The Museum of Art and History (MAHF) consists of three main areas: the Hôtel Ratzé, the former slaughterhouse, and the building for temporary exhibitions. It also features a garden that serves as a setting for monumental sculptures.
The Espace Jean Tinguely – Niki de Saint Phalle (Espace JTNSP) is a unique place dedicated to the creative work of two significant artistic personalities of the 20th century.
Together, the two institutions present works that bear witness to the cultural history of the Canton of Fribourg. With the permanent display of the collection and temporary exhibitions, they offer insights into the past and present while also drawing attention to the work of Fribourg artists. Furthermore, numerous public events and activities take place throughout the year.

Your tasks
- Monitoring of artworks and publicly accessible exhibition rooms
- Daily securing of the premises
- Regular inspection of the condition of the exhibited artworks
- Reception, information and care of visitors
- Maintenance and cleaning of the premises
- Preparation of exhibition rooms and participation in vernissages and other events
Desired profile
- Completed vocational training (EFZ), with experience in security or surveillance
- Attentiveness, responsiveness and sense of responsibility
- Ability to remain calm and professional even in difficult situations
- Strong customer orientation, politeness and enjoyment in contact with visitors
- Flexibility, availability and versatility
- Teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- Very good knowledge of French or German as well as good knowledge of the other language
