Ward Manager Nursing and Care (Long-term Care)
Today's senior center has around 80 beds, 37 senior apartments, and a decentralized living group for people with dementia. In addition, the Gibeleich senior center offers a public restaurant, operates a meal service for the residents of the city of Opfikon, and supplies 11 children's daycares. In the coming years, the senior center is to be further developed into a competence center for health in old age.

Tasks
- Management of three group leaders as well as all specialists in own area (currently 8 specialists including 3 group leaders). The assistant staff is managed by the group leaders
- Responsible for duty planning with support from the group leaders
- Responsible for needs-oriented nursing and care of 64 residents distributed over 4 floors
- Planning, optimization, and monitoring of operational processes, adhering to personnel, organizational, and financial resources
- Responsible for the BESA assessments of the residents and for development processes with support from the BESA tutor
- Active participation and responsible further development of the future of own department together with the nursing and care management
- Support of trainers in the training of apprentices and students
Expectations
- Completed vocational training in nursing at tertiary level as well as completed further training in leadership
- Professional experience in an equivalent function is an advantage
- Upbeat, exemplary, and responsible leader
- Openness to the interRai LTCF and digitization projects
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
