About the job
We are looking for a
Head of Logistics (m/f/d) 100%
Your area of responsibility
- You are responsible for the deployment planning of the logistics team and ensure efficient and demand-oriented personnel planning for our catering and event orders
- You are responsible for managing all our catering and event materials, including furniture, kitchens and event equipment
- You ensure the operational readiness and control of our vehicles as well as their efficient use and organisation
- You conduct site inspections for planned events and, together with the catering team, ensure the logistical prerequisites for successful execution
- You are the central contact person for the facility management of our clients and coordinate the necessary logistical and infrastructural requirements on site
- You further develop your logistics team and continuously optimise processes, workflows and standards with the aim of achieving high operational excellence and service quality
Your profile
- You have completed training in logistics and have several years of experience in logistics, event logistics, catering logistics or a comparable operational environment
- You are an organisational talent, think ahead and keep an overview even with several simultaneous events
- You have a good technical understanding and experience in handling vehicles, furniture, kitchen equipment and event materials
- You work solution-oriented, reliably and service-oriented and communicate confidently with customers, internal teams and external partners
- You enjoy leading, promoting and further developing employees and set clear standards for quality and collaboration
- You think process-oriented and have experience in optimising workflows, building structures and sustainably establishing operational excellence
