Purchasing Clerk 60% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Operational procurement

• Recording incoming orders in our own IT system taking into account the respective verification criteria

• Scheduling appointments with suppliers (mainly from the Asian region) and monitoring them (shipping schedules)

• Invoicing

• Ensuring timely payments to suppliers

• Coordination of international transports with the freight forwarder

• Telephone, written and personal contact with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and other external partners

• Obtaining quotations

• Assistance with the recording of master data

• Handling quality complaints

• Trade fair visits as required

Additional tasks

• Handling purchasing projects

• Handling development projects (technical)

• Evaluations and reports

• Translation and transmission of sample evaluations

• Translation of commercial as well as technical texts, German/English - English/German

• General office duties

What do I need to be successful?

• Commercial training with qualification, existing purchasing-specific further training advantageous or 3 years of practical experience in purchasing

• German, English (IMPORTANT: fluent spoken and written!)

• MS Office programmes (minimum), ideally some flair or at least openness to new things in this area

• You are motivated & interested, independent, resilient, cost-conscious, strategic thinker, team player, effective communicator, solution-oriented, self-responsible, open to change and networked thinking

• Strong technical understanding

• Can set priorities and feels comfortable in an international environment

• Impeccable dealings with suppliers
