About the job
Since 1956, the Brunau Foundation has been providing services for people with special support needs. It employs around 50 staff, trains over 75 apprentices annually (commercial, logistics and ICT) and offers sheltered workplaces for more than 30 people. With customer orders and internships in the primary labour market, apprentices are prepared for working life and supported by practical trainers and job coaches. IV-supported trainees can make use of socially pedagogically supervised or accompanied residential offers. The Giesshübel office has sheltered office workplaces for people with an IV pension who have a performance limitation.
To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a immediate or by arrangement
Your main tasks
- Responsible for first and second level support
- Maintenance and further development of the LAB environment
- Communication with external parties (ICT service providers, teachers, IV career advisors, etc.)
- Participation in meetings with parents, teachers, IV career advisors, etc.
- IT project management
- Responsible for the professional training of approximately 8 assigned apprentices including managing all necessary leadership and control instruments (absences, learning objectives, etc.)
- Checking and ensuring compliance with learning/training objectives and training plans according to the requirements of the education ordinance
- Preparation of qualification and assessment reports. Definition and discussion of necessary support measures with the assigned apprentices
- Responsible for primary case management as the direct contact person
- Personnel management and evaluation of 2 employees
Your profile
- Completed EFZ training in the ICT field with several years of professional experience or an equivalent qualification with many years of practical experience in the ICT environment
- Experience in training apprentices with disabilities is an advantage
- Flexible, reliable, empathetic, conflict-capable and resilient personality
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Good oral and written German skills, English skills are an advantage
