Head of Production and Purchasing 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You manage the operational leadership of your area of responsibility and ensure that the production of our individual tool parts is always at the highest level and market-appropriate.

• You plan and coordinate all production and purchasing processes

• You lead your team in production and purchasing both technically and disciplinarily

• You actively shape processes and continuously optimise production workflows

• You continuously analyse our production and purchasing strategy and drive its further development

• You are the driving force behind make-or-buy decisions in rough planning

• You work closely on projects with design, assembly/polishing, and sales

• You strategically develop our machinery and plan its optimal utilisation

• You professionally prepare the production of our milled parts

• You ensure safety at the site and consistently implement the SIBE guidelines

What do I need to be successful?

What you bring to get started in this role:

• A solid mechanical-technical education as a foundation

• Additional qualifications or proven experience in modern production processes

• In-depth know-how in milling technology – you know the subject inside out

• Confident handling of IT systems, ideally ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be perfect) as well as CAD/CAM knowledge

• Strong organisational talent and the ability to deliver first-class results even under time pressure

• Leadership skills and understanding of people – you know how to inspire your team and achieve goals together

• A convincing personality with assertiveness and the necessary resilience for challenging situations
