About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.

For the kitchen of the Rosental Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for around 108 residents, we are looking from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who shows joy and passion for their profession.

Your Tasks

Independent preparation of meals according to specifications and nutritional principles for residents and guests in the restaurant
Taking daily responsibility in the kitchen
Co-responsible for compliance with and control of hygiene regulations
Assisting with events and catering

Your Profile

Qualification as a Cook EFZ
Professional experience is an advantage but not a requirement
High degree of independence, organisational talent, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
Willingness to work weekends
