- Advising and supporting the government council and administration on all communication matters
- Planning, managing, and implementing communication strategies and measures for the government council and administration (including crisis communication)
- Writing and publishing press releases, organizing and conducting press conferences, responding to media inquiries, building and maintaining media contacts
- Ensuring compliance with design guidelines and a consistent appearance internally and externally
- Coordinating communication between the administration and external partners
- Bringing the field of communication into the cantonal leadership staff
- Leading the communication department in the state chancellery, which is responsible for the internet presence and social media management
What distinguishes you
- University degree or equivalent training in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a communication role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in media work, crisis communication, and social media management
