Traffic violations can have consequences - from warnings to driving licence withdrawal. In this exciting role, you assess such cases according to the applicable legislation, justify measures and thus contribute to safety on our roads.
Your tasks
- You apply the applicable law and current case law in practice, ensuring that decisions are based on a solid legal foundation.
- You are responsible for the procedures/cases assigned to you and manage/process them independently - from assessing the relevant facts to making a decision.
- Before each decision, you grant the affected parties the right to be heard by giving them the opportunity to comment.
- You evaluate the legal situation, justify the measure and record your decision in an order.
- You actively participate in administrative court appeals and prepare statements for the legal department.
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with additional training (e.g. paralegal), a police officer qualification, or a university degree related to law or public administration.
- You can draw on several years of professional experience, ideally in public administration, the judiciary, legal practice or legal protection insurance.
- You bring knowledge or a strong interest in road traffic law issues.
- You convince with confident demeanour, high social competence and a strong service orientation - even in demanding situations you keep a cool head.
- Networked thinking and organisational skills characterise you as well as your precise way of working. You communicate fluently in German and are proficient in using IT applications.
