As a clerk (m/f/d) for waste notifications, you can expect a varied role at the dynamic interface of logistics, environmental protection, and the relevant regulations. Together with our specialist for notifications, you will create, process, and coordinate notifications related to the cross-border transport of controlled or hazardous waste in the metal trade.
- Assist with the complete application process for notifications in cross-border waste traffic
- Compile application documents for notifications
- Oral and written communication with authorities, customers, and carriers, also in English
- Maintain and update notifications (both physical and digital in the IT portals of environmental authorities)
- Constantly acquire knowledge on the topic of cross-border waste shipments (waste law), especially regarding EU regulations and international agreements
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g. industrial clerk, freight forwarding clerk, environmental protection technician, administrative clerk)
- Initial professional experience in environmental management, waste management, logistics, or authority communication is an advantage
- Knowledge in waste law, international transport regulations, or approval procedures is a plus
- Accurate and precise working method according to legal requirements, with a high degree of care and attention to detail
- Structured thinking, high resilience, flexibility, and personal responsibility
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and organisational talent
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, French and Italian are advantageous
