About the job
- Advise banks, insurance companies and other financial service providers on legal, regulatory and compliance-related issues together with the respective project teams
- Support the drafting of legal and regulatory clarifications, analyses and opinions for national and international clients
- Analyse the impact of new or amended regulations on financial service providers, especially on business models, processes, products and internal guidelines
- Assist clients in reviewing, developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies, controls and internal guidelines
- Participate in projects in the areas of financial market law, supervisory law, conduct, governance, financial crime and regulatory transformation
- Support regulatory audits, investigations, approval and licensing procedures as well as other supervisory topics
- Take responsibility for smaller projects or individual work packages and assist with coordination, analysis, documentation, quality assurance and client communication
- Support the team with market development campaigns, proposals, specialist publications, presentations and internal knowledge development
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in legal, regulation, compliance or financial services
- Initial experience with banks, insurance companies or other financial service providers, ideally from consulting, legal, compliance, risk, audit or a supervisory-related function
- Bachelor's or master's degree in law, economics or a comparable field; additional training is a plus
- Strong interest in the financial market as well as legal, regulatory and compliance-related topics
- Ability to analyse complex issues in a structured manner and develop practical solutions for clients
- Very good German and English skills; good French skills are an advantage
- High customer and team orientation, initiative as well as a structured and results-oriented working style
