DevOps Engineer-Cloud Engineering

Your team

Pictet Tech designs, integrates and operates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations.
 
You’ll be part of the Cloud Engineering unit. In this unit, we are responsible of streamlining the development experience of product teams by delivering reliable and user-centric platforms covering observability, identity, continuous integration and delivery, release management and cloud capabilities. 
You will be embedded within the Release Management Team and will help building and maintaining the tooling used to manage and govern the release management at Pictet Tech.

Your role

• Designing, building and operating a reliable platform providing release management capabilities to development teams.


• Contributing to the promotion of good practices in terms of Release Management within Pictet Group.


• Aligning with developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity and risk managers to apply standards and to provide guidance.


• Performing tasks expected of a platform engineer: development, infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines. 

Your profile

• You have experience in an engineering role (e.g., software engineer, devops, etc.).


• Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices and full stack development (i.e. Java, Spring, Typescript, Angular, Next.js).


• A well-established background in vibe coding paired with a strong passion for AI coding.


• Knowledge about architecture topics such as integration, security, network, identity and access management.


• Strong interest and knowledge of release management processes.


• As a plus, you have expertise in releasing core banking systems or such complex systems within a highly regulated environment.


• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Deeply curious and eager to learn technologies and skills.


• Fluent in French and English.


• Swiss resident.
