For our headquarters in Zurich Altstetten, we are looking for a committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement as Head of Vocational Education & Training and Continuing Education (60%).
In this versatile key role, you are responsible for the qualitative development of our vocational education and actively shape KiMi’s training and continuing education landscape. You work closely with our locations, the training managers and the executive management and contribute to ensuring that our educational offerings have a sustainable impact.
Your main tasks
- Responsibility for the qualitative development of vocational education and support of around 170 apprentices
- Advising, coaching and empowering trainers as well as supporting apprentices and their guardians
- Designing, organising and conducting training sessions, workshops and further education for apprentices, professionals and managers
- Leading and participating in projects to further develop vocational and continuing education as well as training quality
- Organising and moderating professional exchanges with training managers from all locations
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and quality standards in vocational education
- Planning, budgeting and controlling training and continuing education activities including reporting to executive management
- Responsibility for the administration of vocational education, especially maintaining time2learn and training records

What you bring
- Enthusiasm for the training, promotion and development of people
- Completed vocational training with further education in education, care, HR or social sector
- Trainer course
- Qualification as a trainer with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification. If you do not yet have this qualification, we expect your willingness to complete the further education within the next 12 months. KiMi actively supports and promotes this further education.
- Several years of experience in vocational education, ideally in an SME environment
- Experience in advising and supporting apprentices and trainers
- Conceptual, strategic and networked thinking
- Strong presentation, moderation and communication skills
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Industry knowledge in care, education or social services is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Open, positive personality with a sense of humour
