The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service (KJPD) Thurgau offers excellent conditions for classical child and adolescent psychiatric as well as comprehensive psychotherapeutic training. We treat over 3,000 patients annually with high quality standards in family-friendly, outpatient, outreach and day clinic settings, if possible with evidence-based therapy methods (multisystemic therapy MST, Parent Child Interaction Therapy PCIT, ESDM for early intervention in autism). Pre-trainee Social Pedagogy
You will take on
- As part of the hospital school team, you accompany and care for children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 who are somatically or psychosomatically ill in their daily hospital life
- You support the teacher in lessons, help with the lunch table and help design the afternoon programme together with the social pedagogues
You bring with you
- Enjoyment in working with children and adolescents
- Enjoyment in interdisciplinary collaboration in daily hospital life (nursing, doctors, therapists, etc.)
