About the job
If you look around outdoors in Oberwil-Lieli, you will discover a very beautiful stock of natural hedges, tiered forest edges, species-poor meadows, colourful fallow land, and fruit trees. This is, alongside responsible management and public programmes, the pleasing result of implementing cultural land planning in our municipality by the Landscape Officer. Unfortunately, the long-serving Landscape Officer recently tendered their resignation.
We are therefore looking for: A Landscape Officer for our Municipality Oberwil-Lieli
Do you have:
• Joy and interest in comprehensive and sustainable cultural land care in the municipality. Do you even live in our municipality?
• Knowledge of natural hedges, field woods, standard fruit trees, tiered forest edges, species-poor meadows, colourful fallow land, as well as habitats in/on small bodies of water?
• Some planning talent and experience. Are you accustomed to working in partnership with farmers and landowners?
• Skill and pleasure in conducting work assignments and field inspections with the public?
Or, in short: Do you enjoy the work of discussing and agreeing on the care of natural features with a land manager outdoors in nature on behalf of the municipality?
Annual effort:
• A total of 2-3 days of planning work in the field/office (freely schedulable).
• A total of 2–3 days for various agreements with the land managers (freely schedulable).
• Participation in 2-3 evening meetings with the Landscape Commission
• 1 day for leading a work assignment or a field inspection with the public in the municipality
The mandate is compensated by the municipality.
