Job description
For our production site in Monthey, where our activities are mainly related to plant protection, we are looking for apprentices as Chemical and Pharmaceutical Production Technologists CFC, school model!
During the first 3 semesters, the training will take place full time at the Intercantonal Professional School of Chemistry (EPIC) in Monthey.
During the last 3 semesters, in a setting where safety is the priority, the apprentice operates automated and computerised industrial installations for the manufacture of chemical products and also participates in the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes.
More specifically:
- Participate in production planning, preparation and configuration of installations, with constant attention to product quality and the best possible yield
- Plan the successive stages of the manufacturing process
- Monitor the progress of manufacturing process reactions, identify any anomalies, remedy them or stop the reaction
- Take samples of products during manufacturing and analyse them
- Record control results in reports
- Propose measures to prevent the most common failures of devices and equipment
- Clean and maintain production installations, apparatus and instruments and carry out simple repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection regulations
