What you can achieve.

• As the sourcing lead for defined product groups, you design and implement product group and supplier strategies together with the Category Managers, ensuring reliable supply.
• You develop sourcing strategies and implement them along the end-to-end procurement process. You conduct tenders, negotiate with national and international suppliers, and conclude contracts.
• In your role, you lead cross-functional teams professionally, promote cross-departmental collaboration, and support change measures for new processes and tools.
• With a strategic outlook, you identify market opportunities, derive levers for savings, quality, and resilience, and use data and KPIs for analyses and decision-making bases.
• Together with operational procurement, you align strategic guidelines with operational requirements and drive automation as well as AI-supported solutions forward.

What you bring with you.

• You act collaboratively, bring intercultural skills, and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, data affinity, strategic thinking, and cost awareness characterise your actions.
• You bring solid experience in contract and claim management for optimal implementation and further development of contracts.
• Knowledge of public procurement and understanding of end-to-end processes in procurement are welcomed. Due to your experience in procurement, you are confident in handling SAP MM or Ariba and MS Office.
• With a federal procurement specialist certificate or a higher technical or business administration qualification, you are well prepared for the challenge.
• You communicate fluently in German (C2) and English (C1); knowledge of French or Italian (A2) is an advantage.
