Job Description
As a Fullstack Developer (AI & Digital Health), you will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of our clinics. You will design and develop innovative, AI-supported software solutions that both improve the patient journey and relieve medical staff. You act as a technical bridge between medical requirements and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that our digital health applications are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
Qualifications
Your Responsibilities
- Development & Solution Architecture: Design and implementation of scalable fullstack web applications (frontend & backend) for clinical and administrative use.
- AI Integration: Development and integration of machine learning models, LLMs (Large Language Models), and deterministic AI services (explainable AI) into existing and new applications to support diagnostic or administrative processes.
- Data & Interfaces: Connecting applications to clinical primary systems (KIS/HIS) using modern interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7) and ensuring smooth data exchange.
- Security by Design: Ensuring the highest security standards and data protection compliance (DSG/DSGVO) when processing sensitive patient data in close coordination with the data protection officer.
- DevOps & Cloud: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as managing cloud infrastructure for operating AI solutions.
- Prototyping: Rapid development of proof-of-concepts (PoC) to evaluate and demonstrate the potential of new AI technologies for everyday clinical use.
- Collaboration: Close cooperation with data scientists, doctors, and nursing staff to create user-centred solutions ("User Centricity").
Your Profile
- Education: University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
- Development Skills: Solid experience in modern backend (e.g. Python, Node.js, Java) and frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js), ideally on the Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Looker). Python skills are preferred due to the AI focus.
- AI Expertise: Practical experience in integrating AI/ML components (e.g. OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow) into production software environments.
- Healthcare: Experience with healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) is advantageous but not mandatory, provided there is willingness to learn. Experience with Software as a Medical Device and related certification processes is a big plus.
- Working Style: Independent, agile (Scrum/Kanban), and solution-oriented working style. You have a "can-do" mentality and enjoy solving complex problems with code.
- Personality: Innovative spirit combined with quality awareness. You know how to make technical matters understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
- Languages: Native German and business fluent French as well as good English skills are required for collaboration in our multilingual teams.
- Tech Stack: Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), and version control (Git) is expected.
