This is what you can achieve:
Technical Product Owner (TPO) – Product Lifecycle Engineering
Your mission
You are responsible for a defined product portfolio in the lifecycle and ensure its professional technical support throughout the entire product lifecycle. In the OEM environment, your focus is on supporting the products of a renowned customer from diagnostics.
Already in development and innovation projects, you bring in the lifecycle perspective and accompany products until a clean handover into the series lifecycle. Afterwards, you manage their technical support until end-of-life.
In doing so, you coordinate the relevant departments, set clear priorities and ensure that technical issues are handled in a structured, binding manner with the right sense of quality, risks and customer requirements.
Your core tasks
- Lifecycle support: Technical support of the portfolio including assessment of technical, qualitative and economic risks.
- Lifecycle initiatives and change management: Initiation and support of measures in the areas of quality, cost-down and end-of-life as well as technical responsibility in the change process.
- Customer complaints: Technical handling of customer complaints and customer-relevant issues with a focus on structured analysis, appropriate urgency and sustainable solutions.
- Ensuring series maturity: Incorporating lifecycle requirements into development and coordinating a clean product handover into the lifecycle.
- Planning and prioritisation: Structuring task packages, planning activities in your own portfolio as well as targeted delegation and control of tasks to lifecycle engineers and support functions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Central contact person for development, production, quality, supply chain and service.
- Stakeholder management: Professional communication of technical content in English in the OEM environment with a diagnostics focus.
Your profile
- Technical foundation: You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical education.
- Relevant experience: You bring practical experience in product development, lifecycle management or change management.
- Coordination strength: You enjoy working at interfaces, set clear priorities and understand how to take responsibility without doing everything yourself.
- Communication and presence: You confidently represent technical content in German and English and navigate confidently in demanding interface and customer discussions.
- Quality and solution orientation: You approach technical issues in a structured, binding manner with the right degree of urgency.
