How you’ll make an impact

Lead and continuously improve Hitachi Energy's local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives

Facilitate monthly S&OP reviews and executive meetings, providing insights, reports, and recommendations to support decision-making

Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and build consensus

Develop demand planning and forecasting methodologies for a broad portfolio of critical products, leveraging market intelligence and data analytics

Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory performance, and production adherence to drive business improvements

Lead and support strategic initiatives, representing the planning organization in cross-functional and continuous improvement programs

Drive process optimization through digital solutions, analytics, and best practices to enhance planning excellence

Present executive-level analyses and recommendations while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
Your background
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage . APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is an advantage;

Significant experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, or S&OP within an international manufacturing environment

Advanced SAP knowledge; experience with intercompany purchasing and planning is highly desirable

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into business decisions

Proven ability to work independently, manage a high workload, solve complex problems, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment

Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior management and cross-functional teams

GIS products and business structure knowledge is beneficial

Highly motivated, precise, and proactive professional with a continuous improvement mindset;

Business fluent in English, German is beneficial
