About the job

In this diverse role

you are responsible for group-wide purchasing at CH Media, identifying and realising sustainable savings potentials
you develop strategies for central product groups such as IT, printing and paper, energy, marketing services as well as content and licensing services
you plan and conduct tenders as well as demanding contract and price negotiations
you create transparency over group-wide spend and define relevant purchasing KPIs
you further develop purchasing guidelines and procurement processes and ensure compliance with governance requirements
you act as an economic sparring partner for the specialist departments and question requirements and specifications
you lead your team and continuously develop central purchasing

You will succeed here if

you bring several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing as well as leadership experience
you can demonstrate successes in cost optimisation and sound experience in category management
you confidently conduct complex contract and price negotiations and have strong numerical skills
you have experience with ERP/procurement systems as well as project management
you are assertive and convincing while appreciating collaboration with different stakeholders
you hold a university degree in business administration, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
