Role:

For a professionally organised real estate company in the Basel region, we are looking for a committed and experienced individual to independently manage a mixed real estate portfolio. The focus is on residential and commercial properties that are managed long-term, economically, and with a clear view of the owners' interests.

In this versatile role, you take operational responsibility for your properties and coordinate all commercial, technical, and tenancy law matters. You act as the central interface between owners, tenants, caretakers, tradespeople, and internal specialist departments, ensuring forward-looking and high-quality management.

Responsibilities:

• You independently manage residential and commercial properties, representing the interests of the owners.

• You manage tenancy relationships from leasing through contract changes to termination and re-letting.

• You are the central contact person for tenants, owners, caretakers, trades companies, and other partners.

• You organise and conduct apartment and property inspections and handovers independently.

• You coordinate maintenance, repair, and refurbishment measures and monitor their timely implementation.

• You obtain quotes, compare them, and prepare decision-making bases for the owners.

• You professionally and solution-orientedly handle rent adjustments and other tenancy law matters.

• You continuously monitor vacancies, cost developments, and the economic performance of your properties.

• You work closely with real estate accounting and clarify financial and billing-related issues.

• You actively contribute your experience to budgeting, maintenance planning, and major investment projects.

• You accompany renovation and refurbishment projects together with internal or external specialists.

• With your forward-looking management, you actively contribute to the long-term quality and value development of the portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Completed commercial or comparable basic training related to the real estate industry

• Further training as a property manager with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification is an advantage

• Several years of experience in independent management of rental properties

• Experience in managing residential and ideally commercial properties

• Sound knowledge of Swiss tenancy law

• Technical understanding of maintenance, renovation, and refurbishment topics

• Experience in direct communication with private or institutional owners

• Confident use of common property management software and Microsoft Office

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form

• Category B driving licence is an advantage

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style

• Confident manner, negotiation skills, and strong service orientation
