To strengthen our management team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated personality as:
Head of Design Department 80 – 100% (m/f/d)
In this key role, you will take overall responsibility for the entire department and lead a dedicated team of project managers and designers as well as apprentices.
Your tasks
- Technical and disciplinary management of the design department
- Responsibility for budget planning, resource management, and quality assurance of all mobile screening and crushing plants
- Organization, planning, control, and monitoring of complex design and customer projects
- Ensuring on-time and on-budget implementation
- Interface coordination with sales, production, and service
- Support in the creation of specifications and manufacturing orders
- Maintaining technical documentation
- Process optimization and promotion of employee development
Your profile
- Completed training as a designer/polymechanic and/or similar, preferably with studies in mechanical engineering/design technology, but not mandatory
- Several years of experience in project management as department or team leader/project manager in mechanical engineering
- Solid knowledge of CAD systems and common design methods
- Leadership skills as well as experience in team development and motivation
- Fluent German and English skills, additional national languages are an advantage
- Customer orientation, entrepreneurial thinking, and result orientation as well as communication and teamwork skills
