The positions are attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG services, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the Sterilization Service, the Biomedical and Equipment Service, as well as Cressy-Health. More than 1,100 professionals carry out their tasks daily with constant rigor, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the Operations Department, the Cleanliness-Hygiene Service is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting premises, rooms, and beds with a highly qualified team and measures to prevent hospital infections. Waste treatment, garden maintenance, and road management are integral parts of the service's activities.
Job Description
You ensure the management, organization, and control of garden and outdoor space maintenance and development activities. In collaboration with team leaders, you plan and optimize the sector's human resources and ensure the smooth running of activities across different sites.
You coordinate, support, and evaluate team leaders and guarantee the quality of services at all times, respecting standards, current procedures, and user needs.
You supervise the professional practices of sector staff and ensure follow-up on recruitment, training, evaluations, and skills development, in connection with the Human Resources function. You regularly lead information sessions and promote clear and constructive communication.
As a proactive contributor, you help continuously improve the quality and efficiency of services and manage the sector's material resources, equipment, and machinery.
Qualifications
You hold a diploma in horticulture at Bachelor level or an equivalent level and a CAS in management. You have good knowledge of common IT tools, especially Outlook and Excel.
You have several years of successful experience in team leadership, ideally acquired in a hospital, hotel, or facility services environment.
Recognized for your organizational, planning, and anticipation skills, you demonstrate a strong sense of dialogue and fairness, interpersonal ease, and proven competence in personnel management and supervision.
