ICT Application Manager Clinical Systems 80-100%

The Department of Digitalisation and ICT provides comprehensive IT and project services and works closely with the specialist departments. For the Clinical Applications team, we are looking for a committed individual to ensure the stable operation and further development of central clinical applications.

Your tasks

• Ensuring the stable and secure operation as well as support of our clinical information system KISIM and our dictation solutions Winscribe/Dragon Medical One.
• Responsibility for the support and continuous development of the assigned applications in close coordination with the specialist departments.
• Recording, analysing and evaluating professional requirements as well as developing and implementing suitable IT solutions.
• Planning and coordinating changes, releases, tests and approvals.
• Taking on project and subproject management for the functional further development and integration of new solutions and technologies.
• Participating in the evaluation and introduction of new technologies, for example AI-based extensions.
• Involvement in the on-call service for business-critical clinical applications.

Your profile

• Completed training in medical informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a basic medical or nursing education with a strong IT affinity and corresponding experience.
• Good knowledge of clinical processes and basic medical topics as well as ideally experience in the Swiss healthcare system.
• Several years of experience in application management or in the operation and further development of specialist applications is an advantage.
• Good understanding of application architectures, interfaces, data flows and the interrelationships of complex IT system landscapes.
• Strong ability to understand, structure and translate professional requirements into targeted IT solutions.
• Communicative and assertive personality with a strong service and process understanding.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as a high quality and sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to take responsibility for the assigned applications and to act in a solution-oriented manner even in demanding operational situations.
