In this role, you take responsibility for the care and treatment of over 15,000 patients annually in an interdisciplinary emergency centre with 10 treatment bays including a shock room, plaster room, and a fast track with two treatment places. You work at the interface of all specialist disciplines and are involved in the processes of an internal medicine clinic that cares for both inpatients and cases in an interdisciplinary intensive care unit. You utilise the broad spectrum of internal medicine including gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics, and palliative medicine, as well as adjacent disciplines such as surgery, orthopaedics, radiology, gynaecology, obstetrics, and neonatology. Responsibilities:
- You responsibly treat patients across the entire spectrum of emergency medicine
- In this role, you act as a supervisor for assistant physicians and support their professional development
- As Senior Physician Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre, you undertake senior medical duties and shifts in the multi-shift operation of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre and the Internal Medicine Clinic
- You work collegially in an interdisciplinary environment on equal terms with various specialist disciplines
- In this role, you contribute your ideas and commitment to the further development of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre and the Internal Medicine Clinic
- As Senior Physician Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre, you actively participate in shaping the future of our healthcare world
Qualifications:
- You hold a specialist title in internal medicine
- You possess the interdisciplinary focus in clinical emergency medicine (SGNOR) or are close to completing it
- You have a POCUS and/or abdominal sonography certificate
- You show interest and passion for innovative teaching formats
- You value interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration and are motivated to engage in the further development of our clinic
- You maintain a respectful approach to patients and colleagues and embody values such as appreciation, partnership, reliability, transparency, and a holistic perspective
