As Head of Network Engineering, you lead our Network Engineering team both technically and personally. You further develop our network architecture, set technical standards and ensure that our platforms meet the current and future requirements of our customers and our business. In doing so, you combine technical expertise with leadership strength, pragmatism and a clear focus on sustainable solutions.
- You ensure the stable operation of our network infrastructure and specifically develop the existing platforms further
- Together with internal stakeholders, you translate business requirements into viable, operationally secure technical solutions
- As a knowledge bearer, you shape the network strategy and architecture with a focus on stability, scalability, security, cost efficiency and automation
- You further develop technical standards, processes and best practices and drive topics such as network observability, security and network automation forward
- In projects, you set priorities, create clarity and ensure that solutions can be implemented professionally and operated sustainably
- Completed studies in IT/telecommunications or a comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of network architectures, routing, software defined networking, IP/MPLS, security, monitoring and automation
- Experience with access technologies FTTH and Docsis as well as infrastructures from Cisco and Huawei
- Strategic outlook, operational implementation strength and pragmatism in complex technical issues
- Clear communication and the ability to convey technical topics understandably and concisely
- Decisiveness as well as a good sense of balance between stability, innovation, cost efficiency and business benefit

Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment, ideally in telecommunications, network operations or IT infrastructure- Completed studies in IT/telecommunications or a comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of network architectures, routing, software defined networking, IP/MPLS, security, monitoring and automation
- Experience with access technologies FTTH and Docsis as well as infrastructures from Cisco and Huawei
