This renowned women’s clinic in the German-speaking part of Switzerland combines modern obstetrics, operative gynaecology, and specialised breast medicine in a high-performance clinical environment. The certified breast centre cares for around 120 patients annually with newly diagnosed breast cancer and ensures comprehensive care throughout the entire treatment process.

You will work within clearly established interdisciplinary structures with regular tumour boards and coordinated treatment concepts. Specialised Breast & Cancer Care Nurses continuously support the patients, take on important coordination tasks, and thereby ensure personal and reliable care.

In addition to senology, the clinic’s range of services also includes the care of high-risk pregnancies and premature births. The position thus offers you the opportunity to specifically expand your expertise in breast medicine while remaining clinically active in a demanding obstetric environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaboration in the interdisciplinary breast centre
• Operative and conservative care of patients with benign and malignant breast diseases
• Participation in tumour boards and senological treatment pathways
• Performing surgical procedures in the field of breast surgery
• Care of gynaecological and obstetric patients
• Participation in the senior consultant on-call service of the women’s clinic
• Involvement in the training of junior doctors

Your competencies:

• Specialist qualification in gynaecology and obstetrics
• Several years of clinical experience in gynaecology and obstetrics
• Experience in the care of high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric situations
• Ideally experience at a Level 1 perinatal centre or comparable maximum care centre
• Interest in senology and breast surgery
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
