Are you a chemical laboratory technician who feels comfortable in an analytical laboratory with varied tasks? Do you appreciate a GMP-regulated environment, enjoy working independently, and take responsibility for the quality of raw materials and medicinal products?
We are looking for a committed individual to strengthen the quality control team for an established Swiss pharmaceutical company. The position is initially temporary with very good prospects for long-term employment or permanent appointment.
Your tasks
- Perform quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to applicable monographs
- Conduct release analyses and in-process controls (IPC)
- Analytics using HPLC, GC, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), UV/VIS, as well as classical wet chemical test methods
- Determination of ethanol content, density, and dry matter content
- Sampling of raw materials and packaging materials
- Documentation and evaluation of analyses according to GMP requirements
- Participation in test equipment monitoring and equipment qualification
- Organisation of sample shipment to external laboratories and management of retention samples
Your profile
- Training as a chemical laboratory technician EFZ, CTA, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in an analytical laboratory, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience with chromatographic methods such as HPLC and GC; knowledge of TLC is an advantage
- Structured, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
- Enjoyment of a versatile laboratory role and collaboration in a small team
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Knowledge of MS Office; experience with MS Access or a LIMS system is an advantage
