The ZHdK, with around 2100 Bachelor’s and Master’s students, is one of the largest and most diverse art universities in Europe. Employee for the Research Database, 20%
As an employee of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation, you are responsible for managing the research database. In your area of responsibility, you work closely as an interface with the person responsible for Open Science (Product Owner of the research database), the external developers and the stakeholders (including within the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation, with researchers at the ZHdK, Business Applications, university communications, as well as the Media Information Centre MIZ) to ensure that the application meets the requirements and needs of the ZHdK.
Your tasks:
- Interface function between the person responsible for Open Science, external developers and internal as well as external stakeholders
- Management of user rights
- Review of change requests and assessment of the impact on the application and systems
- Planning and specification of changes to the application, including the creation of technical specifications and documentation
- Conducting tests of changes made to the application
- Management of the application budget
- Second-level support for the application users
You bring:
- Experience in application management or in the professional support of IT applications, strong IT affinity
- Experience in requirements engineering and specification of application requirements
- Experience in change and test management
- Experience in rights management as well as budget management
- Good to very good knowledge of German and English
- Enjoy working in a team as well as with external interfaces
- Strong communication and cooperation skills
We are looking for a proactive personality with quick comprehension, analytical thinking and precise working methods. Experience in operation, maintenance and further development of applications is an advantage.
