Role:
A qualified specialist with experience in welding technology is sought for a position in steel construction. The scope of duties includes the manufacture of demanding steel structures as well as partial assumption of welding supervision and quality assurance. The focus is on professional execution, inspection, and documentation of the work.
Responsibilities:
Assembly and professional tacking of steel structures according to technical drawings
Preparation of components for efficient and quality-compliant welding execution
Assumption of tasks in welding supervision and ensuring quality requirements
Conducting visual inspections and control of completed welding work
Documentation and ensuring traceability of inspection and work steps
Collaboration with production, welding specialists, and work preparation
Qualifications:
Completed training as a metalworker EFZ specialising in steel construction or comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in steel construction and welding technology environment
Further training in welding supervision is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant welding, quality, and manufacturing standards
Experience in quality control and technical documentation
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
Good German language skills spoken and written
