Your Tasks
Responsible for appeal procedures: You independently handle objections, appeals and complaints in the areas of premium reductions, rent contributions and the mandatory health insurance (KVG) and participate in appeal procedures concerning supplementary benefits and cantonal subsidies.
Represent the office in court: You represent the office in proceedings before cantonal courts and the Federal Supreme Court and draft the necessary legal documents and statements.
Advise on legal questions: You advise and support caseworkers and other internal departments on legal issues and contribute to a consistent and legally compliant administrative practice.
Legislation and political matters: You prepare consultation responses to cantonal and federal proposals and handle political motions as well as other legal and political matters.
Project work: You independently lead smaller projects and participate in larger projects. In doing so, you contribute your legal expertise and help develop processes and professional foundations.
Your Profile
Experience: You have professional experience in public law, preferably in social insurance or administrative law. Experience with appeal procedures, legislation or political matters is an advantage.
Personality: You work legally precise, structured and independently, grasp complex issues quickly and develop practical solutions. You communicate appropriately for the target audience and enjoy collaborating with different specialist departments.
Education: You hold a completed university degree in law and have sound knowledge of social insurance law as well as Swiss constitutional and administrative law.
Language: You have very good oral and written German skills and can clearly and understandably formulate even complex legal content.
