About the job
Portrait of the School/Institution
175 pupils are taught at the Lauterbrunnental School from kindergarten or the base level up to the ninth grade at our three locations in Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Mürren.
At all three locations, day schools and school social work complement the school offer. In the preschool area, the municipality of Lauterbrunnen organises playgroups and a daycare centre.
Our school has set itself a goal: We want to experience our homeland with all our senses. Together with the children, we go outside, discover special features of our surroundings, ask questions, research and marvel. Education for sustainable development (ESD) means for us: Not just collecting knowledge, but taking responsibility. Because only what you know and hold dear in your heart do you want to preserve. This is how our pupils learn step by step.
