The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the MTTB department under the direction of Ms Jana Schmid, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant for immediate start or by arrangement, with a workload of 40-60% in the field of Cardiology / Angiology.
Your tasks
- Organisation and coordination of cardiological and angiological consultations
- Care of patients as well as appointment scheduling and patient management
- Conducting diagnostic examinations in the field of Cardiology and Angiology, for example ECG, long-term ECG, long-term blood pressure measurements and oscillodoppler examinations
- Support of specialists during consultations, examinations and procedures
- Performing blood draws as well as taking on administrative and organisational tasks
Your profile
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant, Medical Practice Assistant EFZ or Health Professional
- Ideally experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in Cardiology or Angiology
- Structured and reliable way of working as well as organisational skills
- High patient orientation and pronounced service understanding
- Open and appreciative communication, calmness and overview even in a dynamic workday as well as enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
