CNC Setter Mechanic M/F

We are looking for one of our clients in the Geneva region: As a Setter Mechanic, you will be responsible for the proper execution of tasks within the workshop.

Job Description:

• Setting and Start-up: Preparation, tool assembly and adjustment of CNC machines on watch components made from precious and specific materials (case, back, bezel, bracelet, etc.) on various CNC machines (Willemin 408MT / S2 / 508MT2 / Robodrill / Bumotec).

• Programming: Minor program modifications and optimisation of cutting parameters (ISO/Fanuc).•

• Quality Control: Rigorous self-check during production using conventional measuring tools (micrometer, dial gauge) and optical tools (Keyence).

•Maintenance: First-level maintenance of equipment and replacement of inserts/tools.

•Process Compliance: Strict application of aesthetic criteria

Candidate Profile :

•Education: Federal VET Diploma as Production Mechanic, Polymechanic, Micro-mechanic or equivalent qualification in Machining, Baccalaureate or BTS.

•Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in CNC setting, ideally in the Geneva watchmaking sector.

•Technical Skills: Reading complex plans and mastery of fine geometric tolerances, ISO code.

•Soft Skills: Solution-oriented and continuous improvement mindset, patience, team spirit and a natural sensitivity for luxury finished products.
