The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Department of Students and Cross-sectional Tasks is responsible for overarching tasks and projects within the Vice-Rectorate for Education. In addition to the office, admissions, and study organization, this also includes the International Office, professional aptitude, and the psychological counseling center. The "Students and Cross-sectional Tasks" department is responsible within the Vice-Rectorate for Education for cross-departmental products, services, and projects.
This is what you will do.
- You organize and coordinate the entrance and supplementary examinations of PH Zurich. This includes, among other things, checking the application documents, requesting additional documents, planning the examination sessions twice a year (dates, rooms, personnel), ongoing administration, recording minutes of grading meetings and follow-up discussions, preparing admission decisions in the admissions committee, etc.
- You represent PH Zurich at information events and fairs for prospective students.
- You regularly advise and inform prospective students on the information line.
- You support the team as needed with other tasks (e.g., supervision during other admission procedures) and thus contribute to the overall success of the area.

- Commercial basic training, preferably with a vocational baccalaureate
- Experience in the examination or educational environment (e.g., universities, schools, certification bodies)
- Very good communication skills, both oral and written, and experience dealing with different stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office applications and a strong affinity for IT tools
- Process and quality awareness (structured workflows, compliance with guidelines, continuous improvement)
- Resilience and calmness in hectic phases
- Open, humorous, and flexible personality with joy in contact with people
