About the job
Origami Renovation is growing and we are looking for an architect / project manager at 80% to take charge of renovation projects from design through to delivery. Projects: renovation and transformation of houses and apartments in the Canton of Vaud
We are looking for someone who wants to have real responsibilities, make decisions, and see the tangible results of their work.
Not just producing plans.
Your role at Origami
You take charge of your projects and accompany them from A to Z:
- Survey of the existing state, design and development of projects;
- Preparation of plans and technical files;
- Preparation and submission of building permit applications and coordination with authorities and agents;
- Consultation of companies, planning and preparation of works;
- Site management and supervision: coordination of companies, quality, deadlines and budget;
- Acceptance of works and delivery of the project to the client.
Your objective: to advance your projects and bring them to a successful conclusion.
The profile we are looking for
What interests us most is your way of working. We are looking for someone who is:
- Autonomous: You know how to organise your work and take charge of a project without constantly being told what to do.
- Organised: You anticipate. A site should not stop because an order or decision was not made in time.
- Solution-oriented: When a problem arises, your first reflex is to find how to solve it.
- Comfortable on site: You enjoy both designing a project and putting on your site boots to liaise with companies to realise it.
- Comfortable with clients: You know how to explain, advise, reassure and sometimes announce that a problem must be resolved.
Experience
Ideally you have:
* Architect HES/EPF training or equivalent qualification allowing you to prepare and sign enquiry files in the Canton of Vaud (REG A/B or recognition compliant with the LPrA). Experience in preparing and submitting CAMAC files is essential.
* real experience in site management and supervision;
* the ability to read, produce and check execution plans;
* a good understanding of the various building trades;
* an excellent command of French.
Why join Origami?
We are a small developing structure. This means less hierarchy, fewer silos and above all much more impact. You will be able to follow a project from the first ideas to the moment the client receives their keys.
You will have autonomy, responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute directly to how Origami works and develops.
We are currently looking for someone who can gradually become a true operational pillar of the company.
