For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Pratteln BL area, we are looking for a technically skilled, reliable, and independent individual as a Maintenance Mechanic 80-100% (m/f).
In this role, you work directly at the heart of production. You ensure that machines and systems operate reliably, troubleshoot technical faults, and apply your expertise in maintenance, repairs, and optimisations.
- Systematic analysis and resolution of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Performing preventive maintenance and servicing tasks according to the maintenance plan
- Assisting with overhauls, conversions, installations, and technical optimisations
- Supporting the assembly and commissioning of new machines and systems
- Ensuring high system availability and reliable production operations
- Identifying and implementing technical improvement potentials
- Documenting completed work and maintenance measures
- Close collaboration with production, engineering, quality assurance, and external service partners
- Compliance with applicable safety, quality, and operational regulations
- Professional experience in maintenance, servicing, assembly, or technical support is an advantage
- Good knowledge of mechanics and ideally of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge is advantageous but not required
- Good understanding of machines, production systems, and technical processes
- Ability to systematically analyse faults and resolve them practically
- Independent, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in solving technical problems directly at the system
- Team-oriented and solution-focused personality
- Good command of German, both spoken and written
- Willingness to work day or shift schedules, depending on the area of deployment

Profile
