The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organisation effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, guaranteeing the population a comprehensive and local hospital service, regardless of where the services are required.
Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relationships, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
To complete the Dermatology Service at the Mendrisio and/or Bellinzona site, we are looking for a
Head Clinic Doctor (50-100%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for has professional experience and autonomy, as well as motivation, initiative, and a spirit of collaboration. They believe, as we do, in the importance of putting the patient and their family at the centre of all our attention. Capable of conveying their opinion to young colleagues and medical students of the Medical Master School of the University of Italian Switzerland (USI).
Necessary requirements:
- Degree/diploma in medicine;
- Specialist diploma in dermatology;
- In the case of foreign qualifications, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and registration with MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) before starting work is mandatory;
- Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2), desirable knowledge of another national language and English with registration at MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) before starting work;
- Preference will be given to candidates with solid and proven experience;
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Availability/flexibility to work at multiple EOC sites;
- Involvement in the training of USI medical students;
