Are you our new team member who will support us as Head Waiter starting September 1, 2025, or by agreement? You will work a 90% schedule spread over 5 days (Monday to Friday in morning, afternoon, and evening shifts), additionally supporting us about once a month on weekends. Depending on events and the season, you will also work in the evening about 2 times a week. Your vacation is spread over 4 weeks during the summer holidays and 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Your area of responsibility:
- Leadership and organization of the area
- Receiving, clarifying, and implementing guest needs and wishes
- Ensuring the service process and working at the front
- Planning and executing events, banquets, and events including pre- and post-processing
- Assisting with office work: daily closings, DCC, website, social media management, checking delivery notes, ordering, inventory, event offers, email inquiries, table reservations via Aleno
- Ensuring ZFV quality and service standards
- Monitoring, compliance, and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety regulations
- Supporting the planning, training, and qualification of employees
- Promoting team building and the further development of employees
- Conducting briefings and debriefings
Your strengths:
- Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist EFZ
- 5 years of professional experience in gastronomy
- First leadership experience desired
- Good knowledge of Swiss German or High German, as well as English, any additional foreign language is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in using MS Office programs
