Trainee
Tax Administration | 50–100 % | Chur
The Cantonal Tax Administration is responsible for collecting direct taxes in the Canton of Graubünden, except where legislation assigns this responsibility to the Confederation or the municipalities. The office levies income and wealth tax on individuals (federal direct tax and cantonal tax).
For the Tax Administration, tax office section, we are looking for a trainee starting 1 December 2026 or by arrangement. The traineeship lasts at least six months and can be extended up to one year. It is possible to extend the traineeship or continue the employment relationship afterwards.
Tasks
- Support for preparatory and subsequent activities related to the taxation of individuals
- Support in correction work
- Recording and verifying tax factors for income and wealth tax of individuals (employed persons) based on tax returns
What we expect from you
- Ongoing academic studies or vocational training (bachelor or master at a university or university of applied sciences or professional maturity certificate).
- Insight and a reliable, accurate and organised working method
- Enjoy working independently
- Interest in the tax sector and willingness to pursue specialised professional development
- Good IT skills
- Excellent oral and written expression in German
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
