About the job
The Ilgenhalde Foundation is committed to people with severe multiple disabilities, especially those with increased care and structural needs. Ilgenhalde is one of three institutions of the foundation and supports and promotes 72 children and young people with intensive care, nursing and/or structural needs aged 4 – 18 years. Our offer includes school, living and therapy. In a total of 12 classes (kindergarten to secondary level and two structure classes), seven residential groups, two therapeutic residential school groups as well as various therapy offers, about 190 employees take care of our children and young people.

Interns HP School
(Workload: 80%-100 / Mon-Fri)
You bring the following:
- (Pre-)enthusiasm for working with demanding pupils with severe multiple disabilities
- a respectful and non-judgemental attitude towards our children and young people
- You are at least 16 years old and starting your professional career or you already have experience as a nursing assistant or you want to re-enter the profession after a longer break and gain experience in a several-month internship
- You are reliable and enjoy working with different people
Internship content:
An internship with us offers a comprehensive insight into the everyday life of curative education as well as social pedagogy and allows initial relevant professional experience, well supported by experienced, practice-instructing professionals and competent teams.
We offer an annual working time with regulated assignments during school times. With a 100% workload, a change to the residential area will take place during the school holidays.
