Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)
1. Responsibility
Ensuring all activities related to payroll, close cooperation with the decentralized HR organization, and coordination of the interface to the finance department. Responsible for the timely and error-free completion of all administrative tasks in the assigned area. Support in implementing HR strategies in the area of compensation and benefits.
2. Tasks and Responsibilities of the Position
Independent processing of payroll for all assigned areas or legal entities
Preparation and analysis of payroll and social security statements
Independent and efficient handling of payroll tasks in administration and specialist areas
Conducting monthly checks, processing, and payroll deductions related to FamZu, MSE, VSE, BUE, IV, EO, KVG, UVG, UBU, manual deduction cases
Recording, processing, and forwarding of accidents and illnesses as well as communication with employees and insurance companies
Support in preparing audit-proof annual financial statements for the defined HR accounting account
Handling cases and payroll with various agencies and insurance companies, such as compensation office (AHV/ALV/IV/EO), pension fund, tax authorities, etc.
Point of contact for all employees in the assigned areas for inquiries about payroll and social security questions in four languages DE, EN, IT, FR
Contact person for finance, HR, HRES, and time tracking team for the assigned areas
Contact person for internal and external agencies related to payroll processing, social security statements and their interfaces
Complete handling of medical certificates as well as absence management + controlling
3. Your Profile
Commercial (at least E-profile) or business administration education ideally with further training in social insurance, payroll, human resources
At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role in payroll or HR
SAP / Workday / UKA / time tracking system knowledge is an advantage as well as MS Office and IT affinity Discretion, networked and pronounced analytical thinking
Precise, structured, and team-oriented working style
Motivated, reliable, independent, and responsible personality
German as a native language and English language skills are mandatory
Italian and/or French is a plus
