Period

Your role

• Responsibility as "Deal Captain" with a very high deal flow through clear acquisition strategies
• Analysis and interpretation of financial key figures, including investment track records/annual financial statements and preparation of valuation analyses according to various valuation methods
• Develop value creation strategies with management
• Financial modeling, including leveraged buyouts and cash flow analyses
• Management meetings with potential platforms and add-ons and organization of ongoing due diligence reviews
• Close cooperation with the management of the portfolio company
• Support of monthly/quarterly reporting to the investment committee and investors Participation in advisory board meetings
• Networking, including with M&A advisors and other multipliers
• Participation in industry events on behalf of the company
• Leading employees 

Profile

What makes the difference

• Several years of professional experience, at least 6 years in private equity in the DACH market - experience with transactions in the small/mid market and ideally in service industries
• Proven success in the PE environment and portfolio management 
• Excellent academic background with a relevant degree in business/finance 
• Outstanding analytical skills and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as a very independent working style
• Down-to-earth and communicating at eye level, team player
• Perfect German skills
• Negotiation-secure English skills
• Proficient in MS Office
