Apprenticeship as Medical Device Technologist EFZ 2027

Are you a perfectionist? We want you as a Medical Device Technologist!
- From scalpels to surgical robots: you clean, disinfect, sterilise and check our medical devices.
- You will get to know many different medical devices.
- You work in one of the most modern facilities in Switzerland with state-of-the-art equipment.
- You will gain exciting insights at USZ, including in the operating theatre (OPS).
- Our location is Zurich-Schlieren.
- You attend vocational school at Careum in Zurich.
Your Profile
- Secondary level A, Secondary level B or 10th school year
- Skilful with your hands and fascinated by technology
- Precision, concentration and care
- Team player and at the same time you enjoy working independently
- No colour vision deficiency
Our Benefits
- Working hours between 06:30 and 22:00, also possible on weekends and public holidays
- 42-hour week
- Teaching material allowance of CHF 200.- per year
- Interdisciplinary events with other apprentices
- We prepare you for the final exam (QV)
